The pool (we checked this out, and there is a nice clubhouse adjacent to the pool with a cafe and shisha pipes):

...and The Corniche (where we will not stay -- we looked at a high-rise with this view, but it would not accept cats. Samrya Gardens may not have the ocean view, but it makes up for it with green space!):
The adventure begins in 3 days -- we leave Grand Rapids on Tuesday morning!

Love the pictures. Looks like a beautiful place! What a neat learning opportunity for you both - both from a personal and professional standpoint. Your adventurous nature is quite inspiring to me! Enjoy yourselves!
